Scheduling new content

If you are creating a new page and need to have it published at a later date/time, set the initial state of the page as “Draft.” In addition to setting the page in that state, also go ahead and configure the schedule option located on the right sidebar. Remember to set the “Publish state” dropdown as “Published,” otherwise it will not get published after the date/time.

Scheduling content edits

If you are editing an existing page that is already published and need to make edits to it to show up at a later date/time, set the current state of the page as “Draft.” In addition to setting the page in that state, also go ahead and configure the schedule option located on the right sidebar. Remember to set the “Publish state” dropdown as “Published,” otherwise it will not get published after the date/time.

NOTE: If you do not set the current published page state as “Draft,” setting a future schedule to publish the page will automatically unpublish the page and your users will no longer be able to access that page.

Scheduling new media

If you are creating a new media file and need to have it published at a later date/time, set the initial state of the media as “Draft.” In addition to setting the media in that state, also go ahead and configure the schedule option located on the bottom of the page. Remember to set the “Publish state” dropdown as “Published,” otherwise it will not get published after the date/time.

Scheduling media changes

If you are editing an existing media file that is already published and need to update the file for it to show up at a later date/time while still maintaining access to the old file, set the current state of the media as “Schedule Change.” In addition to setting the media in that state, also go ahead and configure the schedule option located at the bottom of the page. Remember to set the “Publish state” dropdown as “Published,” otherwise it will not get published after the date/time.

NOTE: If you do not set the current published media state as “Schedule Change,” setting a future schedule to publish the media will automatically unpublish the media and your users will no longer be able to access that file.
