Lewis County's labor market highlights
- Lewis County is a gateway between the lumber producing regions of Western Washington and major transportation routes.
- Wood product manufacturing is a major industry, accounting for about 1,500 of the county's 3,000 manufacturing jobs.

- 150 more goods-producing jobs. Both construction and manufacturing contributed to job gains.
- 130 more service-providing jobs. Job gains occurred in wholesale trade and professional and business services.

- 350 (6.8%) more goods-producing jobs. This increase spanned all sectors, marking strong improvements over the year in manufacturing, construction, and mining and logging.
