In response to the wildfires that occurred in the state, the Employment Security Department amended its rules on an emergency basis to implement changes that reduce barriers to claimants and employers who are impacted by the disaster. This rulemaking will consider permanently adopting the emergency rules as well as any additional rule changes needed to address the impacts of natural or other types of disasters on claimants and employers.
