The GCDE invites you to a virtual and in-person Disability Community Town Hall to discuss concerns regarding:

  • Services and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
  • School-to-work transitions for people with disabilities.
  • All other issues affecting people with disabilities, their families and their advocates.

When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023

Where:

  • In person at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., 6th floor, Suite 679/680, Vancouver, Wash. or
  • On the Zoom virtual meeting platform. Register online or contact Ryan Bondroff to get the Zoom link. Email bondroff@esd.wa.gov or call 206-677-8834.

The GCDE Community Outreach subcommittee travels to two communities every year.

'GCDE members are interested in learning everything we can about the lives of people with disabilities in Clark County,' said Damiana Harper, GCDE chair. 'We want to hear the challenges as well as the success stories. What is your community doing well and where does it need to improve?'

The GCDE will share your top three or four concerns with local elected officials, service providers, and leaders in the disability community to prioritize and strategize.
