Today is Earth Day! Founded in 1970 as a day to raise awareness about environmental issues on planet Earth, it is now a global celebration.
Since 1983, Washington Service Corps members have supported projects in honor of this day of environmental awareness. Please join us!
Make service a goal. Check out the Washington Service Corps website to sign up for upcoming Earth Day events at various locations.
We also encourage you to plant a tree, shop locally and drive less. You can make a difference in so many ways!
