This includes all employees with paid positions tracked in a company’s payroll system. This doesn’t include persons working outside of formal payroll such as freelancers, contractors and self-employed individuals. Numbers in this section are estimates generated by a monthly survey.

In November 2025, Grant County had 34,410 jobs.

In October 2025, there were 150 fewer jobs (34,260 in total).

Compared to that month, in November there are:

  • 90 fewer jobs in Retail trade.
  • 30 more jobs in Information.
  • 80 more jobs in Leisure and hospitality.
  • 150 more jobs in Government.

In November 2024, there were 490 fewer jobs (33,920 in total).

Compared to that month, in November 2025 there are:

  • 50 (2.7%) more jobs in Construction.
  • 90 (7.3%) fewer jobs in Transportation, warehousing, and utilities.
  • 170 (5.4%) more jobs in Professional and business services.
  • 220 (7.4%) more jobs in Leisure and hospitality.
