Staff can help you:
Find your next job and explore career opportunities
WorkSource can:
- Assess your skills.
- Refer you to jobs and alert you about job listings and hiring events in your area.
- Help you write and refine your resume.
- Give you tips for completing job applications. Staff cannot complete applications for you.
- Tell you about free workshops that teach you how to write resumes, look for work, prepare for job interviews and other skills. Go to the WorkSource website to see a list and register for virtual and in-person workshops.
- Help you create an account on the WorkSource website. This website lists job openings, matches you to suitable jobs, and offers other career resources.
- Help you research labor market information in your occupation and location.

Computers, internet, copiers, fax machines, phones and other office equipment to aid your job search.
Answer limited questions about unemployment and paid leave benefits
WorkSource staff may be able to answer general questions about your application or claim. They cannot complete your application for you.
But staff at our Unemployment Claims Center can answer questions about your unemployment application or claim. Call 800-318-6022, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday.
And staff at the Paid Family & Medical Leave Customer Care Team are best able to answer questions about your Paid Leave application or claim. Call 833-717-2273, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Connect you to community resources
Such as, food banks, child care, public transportation.
Phones and voicemail are also important tools for your job search. Free phones and voicemail are available to those with low incomes. Watch this 4-minute video about these services.
