Ways you can file your claim

File online

The fastest way to file a claim is to log in to eServices.

When you have an active claim, in your eServices account you will see “Manage my active UI claim” in bold blue type. UI is short for unemployment insurance.

Choose either blue “You have a UI weekly claim to file” link under My Accounts or Alerts. After you answer all questions for the week and submit the claim, you will get a confirmation.

File by phone

Call 800-318-6022 to use the automated system from 12:01 a.m. Sunday until 4:00 p.m. Friday (or the last business day of the week).
If you prefer to talk to an agent, call during claims center hours. High call volumes may require waiting on hold or multiple attempts.
Important: When filing a weekly claim, give information specific only to the week you are claiming. The dates of the week are listed at the top of the claim.
