    On Mar. 10, the Washington State Senate voted to confirm Cami Feek’s appointment as Commissioner of Employment Security Department (ESD). Gov. Jay Inslee named Feek commissioner of ESD in June 2021, when she was serving as acting commissioner for a second time. Feek first served as acting commissioner in 2018 and has provided leadership to ESD as deputy commissioner and chief operating officer over the past three years.

The federal declaration for the November storm events occurred on Jan. 5, 2022, and DUA benefits can be paid retroactively for weeks you were unemployed as a direct result of the disaster.
