$5.6 million grant expands apprenticeship programs across Washington state
The Employment Security Department (ESD), in partnership with Career Connect Washington (CCW), was recently awarded an Apprenticeship Building America (ABA) grant from the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL). The $5.6 million grant will enable more workers to earn while they learn and find reliable pathways to the middle class.

Unemployment Insurance trust fund forecast projects higher balance than in November
The June 2022 Unemployment Insurance (UI) trust fund projection report, published today, forecasts continued growth through 2025. This report, published three times a year, is based on the June 2022 economic forecast released by the state’s Economic and Revenue Forecast Council (ERFC).
