Garfield County unemployment rate, 2023 to 2025

As of September 2025, Garfield County’s unemployment rate stood at 3.7%, edging down from August and signaling slightly improved labor market conditions.

Month‑to‑month changes were modest, with a small decline in the labor force and employment, yet unemployment still fell as fewer residents were counted as jobless.

Over the longer term, both the labor force and employment remain slightly below September 2024 levels, indicating a mild year‑over‑year contraction.
