Labor market and economic report

Our Labor market and economic report is an overview of Washington state’s labor market and economy. It includes analyses of employment conditions and trends, unemployment, wages, income and employment projections. Economists and policy makers use the report to track Washington’s economic trends. We produce the report with guidance from the Revised Code of Washington, section 50.38.040, Annual report.

Data in the report are gathered primarily by Employment Security. We also use data from other government agencies, such as the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.
