OLYMPIA – The Employment Security Department, along with state and local partners, will host a layoff assistance webinar for state of Washington employees and contractors. The webinar is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5.
Adults about to be released from jail in Kitsap, Franklin, Walla Walla and Pierce counties will receive help to assess their skills, find a job and more through a $3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.
