Employment Security Commissioner to lead national workforce organization
OLYMPIA – The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) Board of Directors announced today that President-Elect Dale Peinecke, Washington State Employment Security Department Commissioner, will assume the role of President, in accordance with its bylaws. He is replacing Curt Eysink, who is leaving his employment with the Louisiana Workforce Commission. These changes will take effect at the close of business today.

OLYMPIA –Washington added 10,100 new nonfarm jobs, on a preliminary, seasonally adjusted basis, from October 2015 to November 2015, according to the November Monthly Employment Report from the state’s Employment Security Department (ESD).

Private sector job growth helps Washington add 6,900 new jobs in October
OLYMPIA –While Washington’s public sector lost 2,900 jobs in October, the state’s private sector gained 9,800 jobs for a net gain of 6,900 new jobs this month, on a preliminary, seasonally adjusted basis, according to the October Monthly Employment Report from the state’s Employment Security Department (ESD).
