WorkSource plans outreach to assist workers impacted by the Eastern Washington wildfires

OKANOGAN COUNTY– Representatives from WorkSource Okanogan County and the Spokane Unemployment Insurance Claims Center will be in Pateros and Twisp Friday, July 25, to help people affected by the fires burning in Okanogan County.
“If people have lost their jobs either temporarily or permanently due to the effects of the fires, they may be eligible for unemployment insurance,” said WorkSource Okanogan County Administrator Craig Carroll.
Representatives from WorkSource Okanogan County and the Spokane UI Claims Center will be at the following two locations to answer questions and help people file unemployment insurance claims:
- 9 to 11:30 am: Lakeshore Inn at 233 Lakeshore Drive in Pateros
- 1:30 to 3:30 pm: Room One at 315 Lincoln Street in Twisp
Affected individuals may also apply online at esd.wa.gov, by phone (800-318-6022) or at the WorkSource office at 126 Main Street in Omak.
