BREMERTON – Job seekers who have disabilities will present “live resumes” to Kitsap County-area employers looking to hire during an ability forum on Oct. 26.
The second annual Ability Awareness Employer Forum and Reverse Hiring Event will give invited participants the opportunity to share their unique skills and abilities and gives employers a chance to follow-up with questions.
In addition, attendees will hear from people who were hired as a result of last year’s event about their experiences working with disabilities.
Where: Kitsap Conference Center, 100 Washington Ave., Glacier Cove Room, Bremerton
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26
Who: The event is presented by:
- WorkSource Kitsap County
- Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
- Department of the Navy
- Other agencies and non-profit organizations that offer services for people with disabilities
